Christopher Leigh Field

Christopher Leigh Field, 62, of Whitman, MA. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 30, 2025 while at home.
Chris was born on January 18, 1962 in Weymouth, son of Chester and Melinda Field, older brother of Jeffrey and sister Melinda Fulton, brother in law of Dan Fulton and uncle to Jordan Fulton.
Chris attended Hingham High School and enrolled in Rodger Williams College, RI. He left to enter the carpentry trade and continued through out his life honing his skills and working at several companies installing windows, doors and doing house renovations.
Chris, through out his life perused Biblical truth and dedicated his life to demonstrating through generosity.
Chris had a plethora of hobbies and diversions at times in his life including gardening, collecting mid century furniture, old camping gear along with and antiquing. He enjoyed bowling and darts. Chris's real passion was fishing with friends and outdoor activities like camping He enjoyed sitting outdoors and conversing near a fire pit.
Chris was always a helping hand to family, friends and neighbors. Chris was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed watching Formula 1 racing on TV.
Family and friends are welcome to attend Chris's visitation on Wednesday, November 12th from 5-7pm in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, RTE 58 ( at the rotary circle) in Whitman.
