Christopher “Coach Fuselier Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Joseph Fuselier, Jr, beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, son in law, friend and coach, who left this world on September 21st, 2025, at the young age of 45.

Chris was a devoted father to his two daughters, Gracelyn and Scarlett, His Son, Briggs, who were the light of his life. He cherished every moment spent with them-whether it was Coaching, marching with the Rummel Band/MCA Cheer, cheering from the sidelines at all of their games, or simply watching a sunset. His children were his pride, and he made sure they always knew they were deeply loved.

Known for his warmth, steady presence, and quiet strength, Chris had a way of making those around him feel special. He lived his life with integrity and kindness, and his calm wisdom was a source of comfort to many.

He is survived by his wife Tara, their two daughters, Gracelyn and Scarlett; and his Son, Briggs, with his mother Brandi Brignac. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Chris and Denise Fuselier Sr.; his sister, Angelle [Daniel] Sallinger; nephews, Blake and Brody; in-laws, Mark and Sheila DeLaup; sister-in-law, Lori[Alex] Hensley, and their children, Emma and Tyler. He was also Paran to many and is remembered with love by countless extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26, at 11:30 am at Gardens of Memories, where friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate his life. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am.

Though his time with us was far too short, Chris's love and legacy will live on in the hearts of his children and all who knew him.
