Audrey Duronslet Robinson

A life well lived. Audrey Duronslet Griffin Robinson, age 96, passed away peacefully in the early morning of September 26, 2025.

On September 24, 1947, Audrey married her soulmate, Wilmer Griffin. They spent 50 beautiful years together traveling the world and building a life filled with love and adventure until Wilmer was called home. Later in life, Audrey found companionship with her late husband, Clyde Robinson.

Audrey was born on July 7, 1929, to the late Charles "Charlie the Barber" Duronslet and Blanche Simon Duronslet. She was the beloved stepdaughter of the late Cecile Westbrook Duronslet. Audrey was the cherished sister of the late Marjorie Duronslet (her twin), the late Dave Duronslet, and Joyce Thonn (Johnny). She shared a special bond with her brother-in-law, Gene Griffin.

She was a loving and adoring aunt to the late Rickey Thonn, the late Sidney Thonn, Johnny (Darnell), Davey (Hope), and Peggy (Rickey). and will be fondly remembered by her many great-nieces and nephews.

Audrey's passions in life were her friends and family. From dancing at the Jefferson Orleans with her closest friends to the countless hours spent with her nieces and nephews, her playful and loving nature was something her loved ones will always hold dear. She was truly a beautiful soul whose warmth and joy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Garden of Memories Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4900 Airline Drive Metairie, LA 70001 on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
