Chris proudly served his country in the Army and Oklahoma National Guard for 7 years. Chris married Angela Benshoof in 1993 and to this union came Chris' two sons. Chris would always show up at his mom and dads on Christmas Eve and immediately turn on A Christmas Story. Chris lived his life to the fullest and never met a stranger. Chris married Tiffany Chanley in 2019 and the couple made their home in Tulsa. Chris was an animal lover who deeply cared for all his dogs. Chris is best known for being a die-hard Oklahoma Sooner fan. He was deeply passionate about his Sooner football. Chris enjoyed attending any game he could possibly get to.

Me and Chris grew up together and we went to a daycare in Pryor Oklahoma and that's where I met my girlfriend Angle and I would give her my apples everytime. Chris told the other boys to leave her alone and he said she's Bobbies girlfriend and in time we went our own ways and she got married to a man she met and I never got married. I'm age 53 and in April 13 I will be 54 and I was born in 1972 and me and Chris was very close in our ages and I will miss him forever and he was the very best friend that I ever had and everything may God bless you all and I am so very sorry for your loss! So sad to hear of Chris passing. I used to remember picking him and my son up from daycare way back then. I would make up crazy song's to keep them occupied while driving them . Him to his mother and my son to my wife. They would give me strange looks and I will never forget that!Great kids, of a great family! I and Bobbie feel your pain and loss as we felt it when we lost Linda. Our prayers are for you and the family at this time
