Christopher Alan Giddens of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 62. He was born in Sacramento, California, on November 18, 1961, to Thomas C. Giddens and Ruth (Gaddy) Giddens.
After graduating from high school, Chris helped his brother, Chuck Giddens, pour concrete in Oklahoma and Tennessee for several years before becoming a machinist. As a machinist, he worked for several different companies, including GT Manufacturing, in the Shawnee area. Chris was a music lover and an avid guitar player most of his life.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ruth Giddens and his brother, Thomas “Chuck” Giddens, Jr.
Chris is survived by his nephew, Dustin Bodkin and wife, Darcy, of Maud, Oklahoma; numerous cousins: Michael and Rosa Gaddy, Sandy and Joe Campbell, Gena Byrd, Diane and Gary Hill, Randy Gaddy, David Gaddy, Harold and Barbara Gaddy, Ronnie and Jen Gaddy, Vickie Rogers Gaddy, Jay Hill, Jimmy Watkins; and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be held Friday, October 25, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery, 36305 Lake Road, Bethel Acres, 74801.
