Christopher Gunter Obituary

Chris will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and his many pursuits that brought him joy. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, hunting and was a member of the Bull Mountain Hunt Club. Chris also had a passion for the beach, road course racing, and especially driving his Jeep along the sands of the Outer Banks. These activities reflected his adventurous spirit and his appreciation for life's simple pleasures. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 8 years, Cammy Gunter; daughter, Chelsea Allison (Robert); grandchildren, Elliott Allison, Gianna Allison; parents, Doug and Dianne Gunter; stepson, Caleb Painter; brother, Scott Gunter, sister, Angie Meyer (David); father-in-law Robert Darby; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Springwood Free Will Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
Chris's funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Springwood Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Silvers officiating.
Interment will follow at Evergreen- A Quiet Place
