Christopher H. Hawkins, 49, of East Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 29, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home, Trimble Pointe, Moline. A rosary service will be held at 4:30 p.m., prior to visitation. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.
Christopher Howard Hawkins was born on March 31, 1976, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Thomas Howard and Nancy (Kepner) Hawkins. He worked as a welder at John Deere for many years, a career he truly enjoyed.
Chris loved spending time on the water, whether fishing, boating, or water skiing in his younger years. He also enjoyed the outdoors, camping in his free time, and watching football and other sports.
Chris is survived by his daughters, Emily (Ben) Niemann, Isabelle (Addison) Templeton, and Paige Hawkins; son, Nathaniel Sharpe; three grandchildren; mother, Nancy (Milo) Kepner; sisters, Rachel Hawkins and Annette Gravelle; grandfather, Howard Kepner; grandmother, Beverly Hawkins; a special friend, Jeannie Miller; and a host of many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Hawkins; grandfather, Lucky Hawkins; grandmother, Joan Kepner; uncle, Doug Kepner; and cousin, Matthew Hawkins.
