Christopher Uriah Hill passed away in his home in Slidell, Louisiana on February 8, 2023. Christopher was a loving husband, father, and Papa.
He is survived by his wife, Linda F. Hill; his children, Brittany Nicole Devereux (James), Christopher James Hill (Angelica), Makayla Colleen Scott (Dennis), and Logan Edward Hill; his six grandchildren, Adeline Michelle Devereux, Allison Grace Devereux, Zachary James Devereux, Eleanor Clemence Devereux, Dennis Alvin Scott III, and Drew Thomas Scott; his mother, Sara Hill Ogden; his brother, Shannon Lee Hill; his three nephews, Brian Allen Hill, Skylar Anthony Hill, and Gage Matthew Hill; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Hill.
Christopher was a lifelong Saints fan, even back when they were the 'Aints. He spent every Sunday grilling and spending time with his family. He had a huge heart and cooked enough food to feed the entire neighborhood. Christopher thought pickle juice cured every sickness and that Worcestershire sauce goes in everything. He was very stubborn, and you could not tell him he was wrong. The life lessons, memories, and great stories he has given us will never be forgotten. Christopher will still be watching over us and he would be proud to say that his job is done.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Christopher at 861 Cross Gates Boulevard in Slidell, LA 70461 on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. We ask that any condolences be sent to 861 Cross Gates Boulevard, Slidell, LA 70461 for the Celebration of Life.
