December 31, 1968 – March 25, 2024
We are so sad to announce the sudden passing of Christopher James due to heart failure.
Christopher grew up in Riverton, NJ. At age 4 he moved to Kwajalein Island until age 10 when he and his family moved back to NJ. There he became a state competitive swimmer and graduated from Moorestown high school. Following his leave from Temple University, he worked as a chef in Philadelphia and Rhode Island before completing his Undergrad Sociology degree at NYU Gallatin and later a master's in information systems. At his time of death, he was studying for his second master's at Georgia Tech in cybersecurity whilst working full time as an IT Project Leader at NYU.
He accomplished many things during his 26 years at NYU, he started as a secretary and moved up the ranks to a public affairs officer, and achieved his goal of setting up and running URPA IT.
In addition to his studies and career, he traveled, married, had a daughter, volunteered for multiple causes, gut renovated his home, became a master BBQ judge, co-founded GaleSun Technologies, and took any opportunity to cook.
He will be remembered as a generous, hardworking, resourceful, caring individual and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is predeceased by his sister Rebecca James Baker, niece Alexandra James Baker, Aunt Jeep and Uncle Silvan, and Grandma Rose.
He is survived by his person (daughter), Anastasia James; wife, Polly Kalavrouziotis; father, Jonathan James; mother, Mary James; brother Nathan James; sister-in-law, Meredith Hall; and niece, Larkin James.
A private ceremony will be held for his cremation.

I got to know Christopher only recently on Social Media. He was a staunch supporter of Ukraine und thus a true defender of freedom, justice and democracy in this world. The good go too early. May he rest in peace and may his family and friends find consolation in the fact that he made a difference... and helped save many lives in Ukraine.
