Chris attended high school at East New York Transit Tech High School in Brooklyn, NY; graduating in 2002. Chris graduated from the State University of New York College at New Paltz in 2006 with a Bachelors degree in Black Studies. Chris was heavily active at New Paltz with a special interest in Voices of Unity Gospel Choir, NAACP, and Black Solidarity Day. Chris worked for the City of Poughkeepsie School District where he was employed as a Micro Computer/Network Specialist. Chris was known by all of his friends in the district as the "Tech Guy." Chris was also employed as a computer and technology consultant for Rural and Migrant Ministries Inc.
