Sherman P. Haight Jr., 65, of Hyde Park, NY, formerly a resident of Glenham, NY and Beacon, NY passed away July 7th, 2025 at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. Born on December 23rd, 1959, in Beacon, NY. He was the son of the late Sherman P. Haight Sr. and Helena T Bushnell-Haight. He was predeceased by his 2 sisters, Sandra P. Malarky and Sharon R. Haight. Sherman is survived by his 5 sons, Sherman P. Haight III of Beacon, NY, Shawn Haight and wife Madison Lee-Haight of Beacon, NY: 2 grandchildren Jackson James Haight and Hayley Jane Haight. Richard A. Haight of Beacon, NY Matthew R. Haight and Girlfriend Emma Mercado & 1 Grandchild on the way of Pleasant Valley, NY; Tyler J. Haight of Beacon, NY, Cherished lifelong best friend and ex-wife Kelly L. Johnson of Beacon, NY. Sherman is survived by three nieces as well as many great nieces and nephews. Sherman was a lifelong fan of the New York Mets; his favorite players were Tom Seaver and Gary Carter. Sherman enjoyed fishing, he had a fervent passion for listening to music and talking on the CB radio. Sherman was happiest when spending time with family. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and services are private and at the convenience of the family. Donations in Sherman's memory can be made to the Dutchess County ASPCA and The Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Beacon. Arrangements have been entrusted to Joseph J.
