Dennis Andrew Haight

Dennis Andrew Haight, a loving father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, at the age of 59 in Bay City, Michigan. Born on April 5, 1966, in Lapeer, Michigan, Dennis was a man whose life was characterized by kindness, faith, and a deep love for his family and the simple pleasures of life.

A true outdoorsman, Dennis found solace and joy in the beauty of nature. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, often sharing stories of his adventures and the peace he found in the quiet of the woods or by the water. Autumn Sundays would find him cheering on his beloved Detroit Lions, a testament to his unwavering loyalty and optimism.

Dennis spent his career as a dedicated delivery driver for Builders First Source. His colleagues will remember him as a man who always had a kind word to share, no matter the challenges of the day.

Dennis's life was a reflection of his loving and kind nature. He was a man of faith, who lived his beliefs through his actions and the gentle way he treated others. His legacy of love is carried on by his sons, Jason (Michelle) Haight and David Haight, and his grandson, Brennan, who will miss his guidance and the warmth of his presence. He also leaves behind his sister, Angela Mathes, who will cherish the memories of the bond they shared.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Patricia (Bowling) Haight, and his sister, Sheila Reynolds. Dennis's family takes comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with them, resting in peace and love.

Dennis's life was one of compassion, generosity, and a quiet strength that inspired those around him. His memory will be held dear in the hearts of all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to guide his family and friends. Even though Dennis's life was cut short we celebrate a life well-lived, a heart well-loved, and a soul that has undoubtedly left a lasting imprint on this world.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life in honor of Dennis will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2025, at The Reynold's Pond 5855 Cedar Creek Road North Branch, MI 48461.
