Bryan Edward Bruce, a cherished soul known for his loving nature and passionate zest for life, passed away on August 21, 2025, in his hometown of Lapeer, Michigan. Born on April 22, 1959, also in Lapeer, Bryan's journey was one marked by joy, dedication, and the warm company of family and friends.
Bryan's life was a testament to the power of love and family. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Beth, with whom he shared countless cherished moments. His legacy continues through his son, Tony (Krissy) Bruce, and his adored grandchildren, Brantley, Bronson, Brielle, honorary daughter Melody and her children Andrew, and Heather, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life. Bryan's siblings, Sue (Jeff) Avis and Glenn (Larraine) Bruce III, will fondly remember their brother's unwavering support and the special bond they shared. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, mother-in-law Wilma Roose, Brothers in law Allen (Cheryl) Roose, Dale (Carolynda) Roose all of whom he loved dearly. Debra King, the mother of his children, and many friends will miss Bryan's presence in their lives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Jr. and Margaret Bruce, his daughter, Nikki his brothers, Robert and David (Alice) Bruce, , and his father-in-law, Charles Roose.
Bryan's interests painted the picture of a man who embraced the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid camper and fisherman, finding solace and excitement in the great outdoors. His boat was his haven, a place where he could unwind and create lasting memories with his loved ones. Music, especially playing the drums, was one of Bryan's greatest passions, and he shared this love with those around him. A dedicated NASCAR fan and a loyal follower of the Detroit Tigers, he and his sister Sue would often call each other to discuss the games as they watched on TV, a ritual that exemplified their close relationship.
A man of many talents, Bryan was known for his handiness and his ability to fix and create with his hands. His passion extended to the kitchen, where he would lovingly make his mother's sugar cookies for the family, a tradition that will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Bryan's life was a melody of love, passion, and dedication. He was a man who put his heart into everything he did, and his absence will be felt deeply by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. As we say goodbye to Bryan Edward Bruce, we celebrate the indelible mark he left on our hearts and the countless memories that will continue to bring smiles to our faces. His spirit, characterized by love and passion, will forever be a guiding light for his family and friends
