Sherry Lynn Snoblen, age 64, passed away on August 19, 2025, at Henry Ford Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 2, 1961 in Marlette, Sherry lived a life marked by love, care, and an unwavering dedication to her family. She was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.

Sherry's life was one of vibrant connection and affection. She found her greatest joy in the laughter and company of her children, Brett Snoblen and Stacy Hauxwell. Her role as a mother was one she cherished deeply, and she instilled in her children the values of kindness and compassion that she herself exemplified. Sherry's love extended to her adoring mother, Sharon Kalbfleisch, who supported her throughout her life's journey. The bond they shared was a testament to the strength and resilience of maternal love. She was preceded in death by her loving father Robert Kalbfleisch in 2022.

In her granddaughter Paisley, Sherry found a new spark of happiness. She embraced her role as a grandmother with the same fervor and tenderness that characterized her as a mother. The moments spent with Paisley were among the most cherished of her life, filled with laughter, learning, and an abundance of love.

For the last 18 years, Sherry shared a wonderful companionship with Jerry Gorton. Together, they created a life rich with shared interests and mutual support. Jerry's presence brought an added layer of joy and companionship to Sherry's life, and their partnership was a source of comfort and strength for both.

Sherry's interests were simple yet profound: she LOVED spending time with her family. Every gathering, every shared meal, and every quiet moment spent together was a treasure. She had an innate ability to make every family member feel seen, heard, and loved. Her home was a haven of warmth and hospitality, where friends and family were always welcome.
