Christopher Scott Lind, age 39 of Gatesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Scott’s Funeral Home with Pastor Wray Nunn officiating.

Chris was born on June 19, 1986, in Princeton, Minnesota, and raised in Gatesville, where he made many lifelong memories and friendships. He was a devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, and friend. He loved life and found joy in every moment. He especially loved spending time with his kids and camping with his family. Known for his sense of humor and ability to bring fun wherever he went, Chris could always be counted on for a laugh or a helping hand. He had a gift for fixing just about anything and took pride in putting his skills to good use. He worked at Performance Food Group in Temple for 19 years and more recently, with B&K Air Conditioning in Gatesville for 6 years, where he was respected for his hard work and dedication. Chris will be remembered for his big heart, his laughter, and the love he shared with everyone around him.

Chris is survived by his wife of 10 years, Crystal Lind; children, Isabel, Keira, Apollo and soon to arrive, baby Adrienne; parents, Robert and Alvia Lind, and Steve and Jodi Nolte; siblings, Justin Lind and wife Kristen, Nicole Warren and husband Ryan, Lane Nolte; Stevie Robles and wife Lisa, Valorie Howell and husband Bobby, and Wally Ellisor; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
