Christopher Michael Lord, beloved son of Lisa Denise Gooch Lord and Lee Roy Lord, peacefully passed away on July 18, 2024 in Statham, GA. He was born on April 24, 1993, in Athens, GA. He is preceded in death by a sister, Casey Lord.
Christopher dedicated his career to Jim & Nicks Restaurant, where his passion for creating delicious meals and warm hospitality touched the lives of many.
He is survived by his loving father Lee Roy Lord; adopted family Billy & Sherry Angel, who held a special place in his heart; girlfriend Ashley Dickson, who brought joy and love into his life; sisters Macy (Cody) Cromer, Amy (Jacob) McCoy. Christopher's kind spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The visitation will take place on July 21, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce, GA. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 3:00 PM. A burial ceremony will then be held at Providence Baptist Church in Danielsville on the same day.
Christopher's memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched with his warmth and generosity. May he rest in peace.
