PAXTON – Christopher Scott Lowell, seventeen years old, of Paxton, passed away on March 27, 2022. Loved dearly by many, he was known for his sweet, caring, kind disposition and broad smile. He dreamed of helping others and sharing his love with the world.
Chris attended Montessori Country Day School, Davis Hill Elementary, Mountview Middle School and Wachusett Regional High School where he was member of the Class of 2022. He grew up in Holden and Paxton where he shared his love of video games, dogs, fishing, skateboarding, snowboarding, and being with family on Cape Cod, on or in the water.
In 2020, Chris started work at The Willows of Worcester as server in the dining room. He enjoyed the company of his coworkers and loved the residents he served.
Chris is survived by his sister, Katherine, parents, Maureen and Robert Lowell, and is missed by his loving family and many friends, especially Rosemary May, whom he cherished.
Funeral services will be held privately at Saint Francis Episcopal Church in Holden. Chris will be laid to rest in peace privately at Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Avenue, Jamaica Plain at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, MA 01606 or to the White Oak Land Conservation Society online at https://www.whiteoaktrust.org/wp-index.php/membership/. Thinking of you and your family, wishing you all so much love and support for all the days to come. That smile, could always spot Chris a mile away with that smile, at school in the middle of a thousand kids or walking through town.

Chris was in my World History Class his freshman year. I remember that he wore shorts almost everyday of the year even in winter. I also remember a group project he worked where he and his group mates created a TV broadcast about the Cold War. While Chris was quiet in class, he was genuinely interested in history and, when he decided to speak, made insightful comments that showed he thought about what we were doing in class. I am so sorry for your loss. I will think of him whenever I walk in any of the White Oak conservations properties.

I was so saddened to hear about Chris' passing. I did not know Chris personally, but my daughter is a very close friend of his girlfriend, Rosemary. I have heard only wonderful things about Chris and I know that the happy memories you all share of him will carry you through this very hard time. All my thoughts and prayers to Chris' family, friends, and Rosemary.

Chris is someone i´ll never forget about. He taught me so much i needed to know about life. How to make happiness outta tuff times and just how to make the most out of anything. He was a great friend for all. I´d have a bad day and then see Chris jus smiling living life and that happiness would carry on to me. A pure soul was taken from us but the mark he left here wasn´t. Chris will forever be cherished by many. Best of wishes to his family and other friends he loved u all <3
