Christopher M. Martin

EAST WAREHAM – Christopher M. Martin, 62, of E. Wareham, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at his home unexpectedly. He was the husband of Eileen S. (Snow) Martin.
Born in Lincoln, Maine, he was the son of the late Murray and Merilyn (Griffin) Martin. Raised in Carver, he graduated from Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1978. For a majority of his career Chris worked as an engineer in the vacuum chamber industry and was widely respected throughout. He most recently worked as maintenance engineer for MKS Manufacturing in Franklin and BMI Surplus, Inc. in Hanover.
Chris loved riding his Harley and traveling with his wife (especially to visit friends in Ohio). He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and could always be depended on for a hug or a laugh. As many of his friends would say, to know Chris was to love him. He is loved and will be missed by many.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen of E. Wareham; his daughters, Sarah Martin and her partner Jared Santos of Fall River, and Susan Martin and her wife Anna Giasson of Methuen; his siblings, Warren Martin, Edwina Hathaway, and Noel Martin all of Carver, Bryce Martin of Wareham, and Lawrence Martin of Middleboro. Also surviving are his "grandchildren," Joy and Willow Poirier, many nieces and nephews, along with many friends who became family.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 1 to 3 PM. A funeral service will follow at 3 PM. Burial will be private
