Mr. Christopher G. Moore of McDonough, Georgia entered into rest on January 10, 2026.

Christopher Gerard Moore, 59, departed this earth in McDonough, Georgia on January 10,2026 .

Chris was born to the proud parents of Mr. & Mrs. Marvin and Arrie Moore on September 8, 1966 in Pasadena, California (eleven minutes after his twin sister, Jennifer).

Chris soon became a child full of energy and activity. He got involved with sports at an early age and developed a love of soccer which he played at a high level throughout elementary school, high school at John Muir High School in Pasadena, and in college at California State San Bernardino and Azuza Pacific Universities in the 1980s.

Inspired by his mother who was a registered nurse, Chris became a certified nursing assistant where he was able to live out his passion and gift of taking care of those who were sick. Chris was also a great cook and loved to cook meals for his family, friends and neighbors.

Chris accepted the Lord as Savior and was baptized at Scott United Methodist Church in 1984. He believed in the power of prayer and depended on God to get through life's ups and downs.

He is survived by his twin sister, Jennifer Moore-McDowell (Dwayne) of Benicia, CA, two nieces, Angelique McDowell and Gabrielle McDowell of California, Cora Boswell, aunt of Decatur, GA, Farris Dotson uncle, of Jackson Mississippi, Rufus Dotson, uncle, of Alabama, Michelle Huffman, aunt of Detroit, Michigan, and a host of cousins, extended family members and friends.
