Christopher B. Patterson

Christopher Bryant Patterson was born December 25, 1959, in Englewood, NJ to Lawrence and Dorothy Patterson.
Early in life the family moved to Passaic, NJ where he attended Public School # 10, and was active in the Boy Scouts of America. After returning to Paterson, he attended Eastside High School, then back to Passaic, continuing his education at Passaic High School. During his lifetime he enjoyed fishing, roller skating, basketball, and football just to name a few.
After joining the United States Army, he completed his Basic Training in Fort Dix, NJ and later transferred to Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Upon returning home he continued his love of cooking and fellowship with veterans, he did enjoy serving his country. He was employed as an Environmental Services at the Veterans Hospital in Lyons, NJ.
He was a character; he loved to dress up; to know him was to love him. He was always telling jokes, and making people laugh. He was the controller of the family cookout and enjoyed Doing It In The Park in Passaic, NJ.
Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Patterson.
He leaves to cherish precious memories his mother, Dorothy Patterson; his sisters, Alice Patterson, Sharon Patterson-Tables and Teresa Patterson; one brother, Jason. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews who referred to him as "UNK".
He was always there for them and was always just a call away. He kept them laughing.
