Christopher Pignone left this world suddenly on Friday, April 14 at his home in Pelham Manor, NY. Chris was born to Eleanor and to the late Sabatino Pignone. He was raised in the Throggs Neck part of the Bronx, along with his younger sister and brother. As a young teenager he worked in many restaurants and later became a cook at Scotti's restaurant where he made many lifelong friends. In addition, he was an aspiring boxer who went on to train many contenders in the Golden Gloves; one of which was his son, Christopher.
In his early twenties he obtained his insurance license and worked in Apple Bank. Chris would meet his wife, Rosemary at the age of 21. They married in 1981 and both worked together at Daughters of Jacob Nursing Home for over 30 years. The couple raised two children, Christopher and Theresa in Pelham Manor. Chris was a devoted father, who coached his son and daughters' Pelham Little League teams for many years. He loved to cook Christmas Eve dinners for his extended family. He also enjoyed going to the beach, Met games and Disneyworld every summer with his family.
Chris is survived by his wife, Rosemary and children Christopher, Theresa, daughter-in-law Michelle and son-in-law Mike Bunyan. In addition, he leaves behind his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews. His greatest achievements in life were his 7 grandchildren who he adored. He will be missed beyond measure by Christopher, John, Christina, Nicholas, Olivia, Marissa and his most recent granddaughter born in January, Ariana.
In retirement, Chris loved to go fishing and attend Jets games with his son, son-in-law and grandsons. Chris had a love for food and especially enjoyed his daughter-in-laws' homemade desserts. Chris would attend all of his grandchildren's sports events and could be heard miles away cheering them on. He loved to go out to dinner, and take his grandchildren to the Bronx Zoo, Stew Leanord's and Playland. Chris will be remembered as a loving father, husband and grandfather. He would tell all of us, "Always in your corner."

Our experiences and memories date back to the late 1980´s to the present time. Our relationship began on the little league baseball field and continued til the present time.
Following a real estate suggestion from Loretta they didn´t hesitate and purchased a home in Pelham Manor.
They raised children´s and grandchildren here.
We are neighbors and will always be ready to help all members of the Pignone families.
Rest in Peace Chris.
