Christopher (Chris) Lynn Poe
Beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend
Born July 16, 1974 – Passed away July 7, 2025
Chris passed away on July 7, 2025, surrounded by his family, after a long and courageous nine-year battle with cancer. He fought with extraordinary strength and determination, driven by a deep love for his family.
Chris built a proud career as a Master Electrician, where he not only demonstrated leadership but also formed lasting friendships and mentored many along the way.
Chris is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sharon Poe; his son, Lee Ferrell, and Lee's wife Jessica and their children, Crimsyn (5), Greyson (3), and Annalyn (15 months); his daughter, Shelby Poe (22); his mother, Kathy Edge, and her husband Craig Edge; and his sister, Mandy McCain, her husband Sam, and their daughters Kathryn (18) and Caroline (15). He is proceeded in death by his father, Anthony (Tony) Poe.
Chris will be remembered for his strength, his loyalty, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.
Visitation will be on Thursday July 10th from 4:30pm-7:00pm at Adams Brown Funeral Home in Albertville, Alabama. Services will be held at Adams Brown Funeral Home on Friday, July 11th at 11:00am. Burial to follow services at Memory Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Lee Ferrell, Sam McCain, Jake Formby, Brandon Cook, Ralph (Skipper) Gazaway and Leslie Richards. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be sent to Shepherd's Cove Foundation, 408 Martling Road, Albertville, AL 35951.

I remember the day Chris was saved and baptized by his grandfather. Chris was one of the kindest and most sincere men I have ever known. I will remember the many times he came to me to discuss the Chistian life.
