Ann Carol Foshee, age 75, of Horton, passed away at her home on September 9, 2025. Ann was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She graduated from Albertville High School in 1968 and went on to earn her degree in Dietetics and Accounting from Jacksonville State University. She had many talents and interests throughout her life-she especially loved cross-stitching, reading, and, most of all, spending time spoiling her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Truman (J.T.) Foshee, Sr. and Mildred (Mickey) Irene Carroll Foshee, along with her brother, John (Johnny) Truman Foshee, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Chad (Amanda) Cox and Alan Cox; grandchildren, Kinsley Cox, Anna Claire Cox, John Riley Cox, Charlie Cox, Christian Cox, and Bradley Cox. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Susan Green-Preston; niece and nephew, Alesa (Doug) Foshee Moore and Scot Preston Foshee; and her beloved aunt, Francis Sue Ross. Ann will be fondly remembered by her host of cousins and friends who cherished her dearly. She faced a long and courageous battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and, in her later years, dementia. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home. Bro. Phillip Gilliland will be officiating, with burial to follow at Douglas Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday beginning at 1:00 pm prior to the service. The family extends a special thank you to Heartlite Hospice for the compassionate care she received. Adams Brown Service Funeral Home directing.
