It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia "Pat" Ann (Baruday) Foshee, who left this world on August 19, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on November 28, 1950, Pat was the beautiful daughter of Irma Rae Baruday (deceased) and Edward George Baruday (deceased). She was reunited in Heaven with her beloved brothers, Joseph Edward Baruday and Billy Ray Baruday. Left to carry her memory is her devoted sister and best friend, Pamela Jean (Baruday) Thomason.
From her earliest days, Pat's life was one of devotion-to her faith, her family, and to the beauty she found in the world around her. Before graduating high school, she married her high school sweetheart, Carl Bud Foshee, beginning a lifelong journey of love and partnership. Together, they built a home and a story. Pat's heart was never more full than when she was with her children-Carla Ann Foshee, Joseph Edward Foshee, Patricia Lynn Foshee, and Grant Lee Foshee- each one the heartbeat of her life. Her love cradled them in every season, shaping them through a balance only a mother can provide, in gentleness, firmness, and devotion.
That same deep love was poured into her grandchildren, Emily Rae Foshee and Nicholas Morehead, who were the greatest joy of her later years. To them, she was not only "Mawmaw" but a safe place of warmth, comfort, and endless encouragement. Her love for her family was boundless. A love so deep and profound, it undoubtedly followed her into eternity to be shared with God and the angels; making even the beauty and perfection of Heaven, improved by her presence there.
Pat found serenity in God's creation-whether standing at a water's edge, watching a sun rise in the backyard swing in quiet reflection, sharing her heart through song in the church choir, or simply breathing in the stillness of the outdoors on her daily walks. In those moments, she found peace, restoration, and the gentle whisper of God's presence.
To know Pat was to know kindness, faith, and a love that never wavered. Her laughter, her words, and her unshakable belief in the goodness of others will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to share in her life. Though our hearts ache, we rejoice knowing she is at peace in the arms of her Savior, reunited with family and friends she's missed so dearly, and watching over us with eternal love.
Her life was a testament to the power of love, and her memory will remain forever in the hearts of her family and her friends.
