Jerry passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, October 29, 2025, at Cherokee Health and Rehab Center.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Lynn Shaddix (Rodney), Debbie Williams (Keith), Cindy Anderson (Terry), and Lisa Smukalla (Chris); ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; her lifelong friends of 72 years, Bill and Fran Wein; and numerous cousins and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and Alice Arnett, and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Green.
Pallbearers will be Terry Anderson, Rodney Shaddix, Chris Smukalla, Hunter Green, Austin Green, and Jon Anderson. Honorary pallbearer will be Keith Williams.
A native of Jacksonville, Jerry graduated from Jacksonville High School and later retired from Jacksonville State University. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering Auburn spirit-War Eagle!
