The Memorial Service for Reverend Danny B. Sanders, 75, of Jacksonville, Alabama, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Good News Assembly of God in Alexandria, Alabama. Reverend Ben Edwards and Coach Mark Sanders, his son, will officiate. Reverend Sanders will be laid to rest at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Surrounded by his loving family, Reverend Sanders was welcomed into Heaven's Gates, on Friday, November 7, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.D. and Lillian Sanders; his first wife, Phyllis Sanders; his brothers, Sandy Sanders, Edwin Sanders, Ray Sanders, and Terry Sanders; and his sister, Faye Humphries (Donnie).
Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Christina Vickery Sanders; sons, Danny Michael Sanders and his wife Fran, and Mark Sanders and his wife, Dawn; grandchildren, Noah Sanders, Andruw Sanders (Maci), Rachel Sanders, and Sarah Grace Sanders; sister-in-law, Kathy Sanders; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Reverend Sanders honor may be made to Good News Assembly of God, PO Box 427, Alexandria, AL 36256.
