Christopher Wood Pool

Christopher Wood Pool, age 60, of Porter, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, in Porter, Indiana. He was born on December 18, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, to Hamilton Wood Pool, Jr. and Kathleen (Kelly) Furman. Christopher married Trisha Holdren on November 18, 2004, in Valparaiso, Indiana.
In addition to his loving wife of 21 years, Trisha Pool, Christopher is survived by his five children, Christopher Michael (Andrea) Pool of Valparaiso, Ashley Nicole (Aaron) Kult of Lafayette, Indiana, Jacob Allen (Starr) Pool of Fowler, Indiana, Kylie Fugate of Porter, and Karson Nowacki of Valparaiso; mother, Kathleen (Greg) Furman, of Hobart, Indiana; father, Hamilton Wood Pool, Jr., of Tinley Park, Illinois; two brothers, Scott Allen (Sherry) Pool of Saulk Village, Illinois, and Joshua (Ashley) Pool of Chesterton, Indiana; sister, Ann (Mike) Gozo of Chesterton; three grandchildren, Jaycee Pool, Josephina Kult, and Quinn Kult,; mother-in-law, Donna (Curtis) Sullivan of Alabama; brother-in-law, David Sullivan II; two lifelong friends, Terry and Eli; and many nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Keegan Fugate.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. Christopher had a passion for dirt bikes and enjoyed motocross. His stepfather, Greg, bought him his first dirt bike. Christopher also enjoyed tent camping and was looking forward to upcoming adventures with his family. He loved the outdoors. Christopher adored his family, they were his passion, his children were the pride of his life. He was the type of person that would do anything for anyone, even if it meant giving you the shirt off his back.
