Marsha Ann Gregor, age 62, of Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. She was born on November 14, 1962, in Valparaiso, Indiana, to Robert and Lula (Daves) Prohaska Sr.
Marsha is survived by her loving husband of 5 years, Thomas Gregor; her mother, Lula Prohaska; daughter, Tiffany (Michael) Plebanski; son, Jacob (Nicole) Galasso; five grandsons, Adrian Galasso, Xavier (Soledad Astorga) Muniz, Jose Muniz, Lucas Galasso, Giovanni Plebanski; six granddaughters, Alexis Galasso, Ariana Muniz, Olivia Galasso, Sadie Plebanski, Amara Plebanski, Lucy Galasso; four legged best friend, Buddha; three sisters, Deb (Don) Wilson, Cynthia Hughes, Susan (Rex) Sproles; brother, Robert (Christa) Prohaska Jr.; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wayne Prohaska Sr; brother, William Prohaska; brother-in-law, Scott Hughes; sister-in-law, Melody Prohaska; and her first husband, Darryl Galasso.
Marsha graduated from Chesterton High School, class of 1981. She was very, very dedicated and a hard worker. Marsha worked for Meritage ("Wendy's") for 33 years. She advanced herself to the position of Area Manager. Marsha enjoyed cruises, concerts, Disney World and spending time with her grandkids. She had a habit of consistently losing her keys and her cell phone, and her family will miss the daily challenge of helping her find them. Marsha was very involved in Relay for Life during her treatment for cancer. On behalf of Marsha and at her request, a special thanks to her caregiver, her sister Deb, who "has been by my side everyday through this."
Funeral Ceremony will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN 46304 with Bishop Michael Butler officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.ee-fh.com.
