Christopher R. Quemore, age 75, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Chris is survived by his wife, Kathryn; his daughters, Laura (Ryan) and Kristen (Brian); and his grandchildren, Cameron and Will. He is also survived by his siblings, Jim and Chaneth. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kurt, and his parents, Bette and Chief. Born and raised in Blackwood, New Jersey, Chris dedicated his life to education, inspiring generations of students as a teacher, mentor, and coach. After retiring, he and Kathryn moved to Tennessee, where he embraced the slower pace of life, spending his days golfing, enjoying the lake, and making memories with family and friends. Chris lived a wonderful life with no regrets. He had an infectious laugh, a deep love of music—from classic rock to old-school jazz—and an unwavering loyalty to Philadelphia sports teams, no matter the season. He never missed a chance to tell a great story. Above all, Chris was a family man—present, supportive, and proud. He was the kind of person who showed up, listened closely, and always made sure you knew how much you mattered. His warmth, generosity, and steady presence were a comfort to all who knew him. Chris leaves behind not just memories, but a legacy of love, integrity, and a life well lived.A celebration of life will be held with family and friends to honor Chris’s memory.
