Christopher James Reed, 37, a resident of McComb,MS; passed away December 1, 2024. No services are to be announced at this time. Hartman Jones Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Chris was born on July, 29, 1987 in McComb, MS to James Lloyd Reed, Sr. and Charlene Reed. He worked as a boiler maker with Turner Industries. He enjoyed fishing, cooking out with family, watching football and movies; but don't dare put on a scary one, He loved working on cars, babysitting his nieces and nephews, drawing, spending time with his family and the holidays. His most treasured accomplishment was his daughter Emberly Lynn. He spent countless hours attending her games, pageants and taking her out to eat OEC. Chris will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother Charlene Reed, his daughter Emberly Lynn Reed, his brothers James Reed, Jr. (Gracela), Steven Reed (Kim), and Adam Reed, his sisters Stephanie McGill (Caleb), Michelle Burt (John), and Melissa Brown (Jason), nieces Abbigail Brown, Brooklynn Brown, Taylor Thompson (Will), Kylee Thompson, Kaylin Reed, Payten Reed, and Amelia Dement, nephews Jase Brown, Hunter Brown, Braxton Brown, Tolby Thompson, Layton Reed, Braylin Reed, Patrick Dement and James Cecil Burt, along with many other relatives and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be James Reed Jr., Steven Reed, Adam Reed, Jason Brown, Caleb McGill, Jase Brown and Hunter Brown.
Honorary pallbearers will be Braxton Brown, Layton Reed, Braylin Reed, Patrick Dement and James Cecil Burt.
