Christopher Roberts

Christopher V. Roberts, of Hanson, passed away on October 19, 2025 at the age of 33,

Chris was born on July 20, 1992 and raised in Marshfield where was a graduate of Marshfield High School. He then went on to work as a journeyman for Sheet Metal Workers Local 17. Chris married the love of his life, Ashlyn (McCarthy), on June 23, 2025.

Chris was a passionate man who loved his family and friends dearly. He loved the outdoors, finding his joy in the mountains, rivers, and oceans of the northeast. Chris enjoyed fishing, boating, snowboarding, skateboarding, and hiking. Adventure and travel was Chris's main motivator because he loved to see and experience new things. He was a talented guitarist who wrote and sang his own music, and was a part of many bands throughout the years. Music was a focal point of his life and many of his friendships included people who shared his enthusiasm of playing instruments and traveling to see their favorite bands. With his gentle disposition, Chris was an avid animal lover who never turned down the opportunity to dote over pets and wild animals. Perhaps his greatest pleasure in life came from his rich enjoyment of food. For all who knew Chris, food was not just a meal to him- it was an experience to be shared that filled his soul. His favorite by far was sweet treats and indulging in them was peak bliss for him. His laughter, smile, and presence will be sorely missed.

Chris will be remembered and loved by his wife Ashlyn S. Roberts, his soulmate and fellow adventurer; Mother Lisa H. Mitchell and her husband Jack; Father Vincent T. Roberts; siblings Wayne Marx, Eric Marx, Ryan Marx, Emma Mitchell, Shane Mitchell, Catherine Mitchell, and Sara Mitchell; Grandparents Richard and Carol Roberts, and Pat Roberts; and his cherished dog Kiwi.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 27th from 2:00PM-7:00PM at Sullivan Funeral Home in Hanson - 2 Maquan St. A funeral home service will begin at 7:00PM.
