Christopher "Cole" Sealy

Christopher "Cole" Sealy, 55, of Goldthwaite, Texas, left this world on August 23, 2025, surrounded by the land and life he loved. A memorial service will be held on October 18, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at his favorite spot-his home at 13 County Road 402 in Goldthwaite, Texas.

He was born on January 26, 1970, in Fort Stockton, Texas, and from the very beginning, he carried with him a cowboy's grit, a servant's heart, and a sense of humor all his own. Cole devoted 27 years of his career to telecommunications as a Central Office Technician with Frontier. But anyone who knew him knew his life was about much more than work. A graduate of Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness, Cole poured his energy into the cowboy way of life. He was a talented team roper, an FFA Lone Star Farmer, and served as Vice President of the Texas High School Rodeo Association. Rodeo, agriculture, and faith weren't just hobbies for Cole-they were a way of life.

He was a proud member of many cowboy churches over the years, and he never met a stranger who didn't leave as a friend. Whether in the arena, at church, on the road, or out in the pasture, Cole had a gift for bringing people together and making them feel like family.

And though a cowboy through and through, Cole also had a knack for surprising people. At first, he swore he wanted nothing to do with wineries-but as time went on, he came around to wine, mostly because of the friendships he made there. He had a way of turning a tasting room into a gathering of old friends, even if you'd just met him.

Cole is survived by his loving wife, Belle; his mother, Carrie Sealy; his children, Stone Sealy and wife Madisyn, and Saige Johnson and husband Karson. He is preceded in death by his father, Jake Sealy. His legacy will carry on through his family and through the countless friends who will always hear his laugh echoing in their memories.
