Mr. Christopher "Chip" Slayton, 49, of Meridian passed away Friday, July 4, 2025.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Slayton; son, Campbell Slayton; parents, Tommy and Allison Slayton, Larry and Denise Philpott; siblings, Stacey Pollock (Britt), Lee Slayton, Rachel Hamilton (Grant), and Brian Philpott; nieces, Olivia Pollock, Anne Gianakos, and Ivey Creel; nephews, Collins Pollock, Jay Korsak, Case Creel, Lincoln Hamilton, and Theo Hamilton.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Ann Royal and Carey and Kathleen Philpott; uncles, Kelly and Randy Royal; aunt, Connie Royal.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM at Central United Methodist Church prior to the service.
