Christopher Lee Tillman

Christopher "Chris" Lee Tillman was born September 11, 1976, to Mr. Robert L Walker and Ms. Gloria Tillman Patterson in Peoria, IL. He departed this life on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at OSF Medical Center.
Chris was a very outgoing young man spreading love to all that knew him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling, laughing, and having a good time. To know him was to love him. He was a hard worker, an accomplished entrepreneur, and owner/founder of Dank Bank Inc., a fashionable clothing line. Chris had a real business sense and often spoke about creating opportunities and leaving a legacy for his children.
Chris was an intelligent man who had a zest for life, and he enjoyed helping others. He was very loyal to those whom he loved. Yearly, he would sponsor a picnic and fireworks to bring the community together. Chris was a stand-up guy who was truly a giver. Many may never know of the birthday parties, college tuition, home going services and other acts of kindness he sponsored.
Although he loved the game of basketball and other sports; the joy of his life was his children. Chris loved spending time outdoors with Kris and CJ. He provided a safe and caring home with his fiancé Tameka "Tam" in Mableton, GA. His presence in our lives will surely be missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents the late Felton Tillman and Mary D. Tillman (maternal); George Walker, Sr., and Argie Walker (paternal); uncle George Walker II; Aunt Yvonne Walker. A special aunt- Stephanie Tillman and uncles- Steve Tillman and Robert Tillman who helped raise him.
Chris leaves to cherish his memories: Fiancé, Tameka "Tam" Hollie; children Domenique Cooper, Jr., Dyamond Cooper, Kris Tillman, and Christopher Tillman, Jr.; Mother, Gloria (Louis) Patterson; Father, Robert Walker; Sisters, LaCricia (Reynard) Walker of Atlanta, GA, Tameka Ross, Angel (Jarvis) Henderson of Austin, TX, Tynesha Smith, Latisha Ross and Destiny Walker; Brothers Robert Ross, Idris Ross, Ramone (Alexis) Walker, Timothy Patterson, Antonio Walker, Josh (T'yanna) Patterson, and Devion Walker; Aunts Josephine Sanders, Gloria Walker and Annette Walker; Uncles Jimmy Tillman and Terry Walker; Goddaughter Timesha Bailey, and one very special friend Kenny "Pops" Burns, nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
