Christopher Montez Washington was born to Patricia Washington and Terrence Lewis on February 13, 1983, into a loving family who cherished him from the very beginning. From a young age, he brought joy and light to those around him with his warm smile and kind spirit. Raised in a close-knit home, Christopher thrived in the presence of family and friends, always finding comfort in togetherness and laughter.
Whether it was family gatherings, holidays, or simple afternoons spent with loved ones, Christopher had a special way of making everyone feel seen and appreciated. His bond with his family was strong and unbreakable - a reflection of the deep love that surrounded him throughout his life. He valued those relationships deeply and made it known through his actions and presence.
Christopher's early years were filled with curiosity, energy, and an openness that made it easy for him to connect with others. Those who knew him as a child, remember a boy full of heart, eager to share his time and love with everyone he met.
Christopher Washington attended Manual High School, where he made lasting friendships and built memories that stayed with him throughout his life. After graduating, Christopher held several jobs, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to provide for himself and those he loved. Even when health and personal challenges eventually made it difficult for him to continue working, his spirit remained strong and full of life.
Christopher had a passion for basketball and enjoyed spending time shooting hoops or watching games with friends and family. He had a natural gift for bringing people together - whether it was through travel, casual get-togethers, or simply hanging out and sharing laughs. His ability to make everyone feel comfortable and uplifted was truly one of a kind.
Christopher was known for his humor, charm, and vibrant personality, Christopher was a real character - full of life, full of stories, and full of love. He made it his mission to make those around him smile, and his presence lit up every room he entered.
Christopher was preceded in death by his devoted mother, Patricia Washington, and his father, Terrence Lewis. He was also preceded by his grandfathers, Robert E. Washington and John Lee Lewis; his grandmother, Lorine Washington; aunts; Chandra Lewis and Virginia Washington, and his uncle, Edward Washington. Their memories and legacies lived on in him, and he carried their love in his heart throughout his life.
He shared deep bonds with his siblings: sisters Terrekeya Lewis, Tyra James, Lakisa Day, Latrice Day, and Latanya Richardson; and brothers Donovan Williams, Richard Young, Demetrius Young, George Tracy, and Shaun McCurty. These relationships formed the foundation of his life - filled with shared memories, laughter, and unconditional love.
Christopher also leaves behind his beloved daughter, Chrisette Washington, who was the light of his life, and his loving companion and dear friend, Tamika Hughes, whose presence brought him comfort and joy. Uncles; Darren Mcduffy, Allen Greg Willis, and Cedric Lewis, aunt; Helen Washington. Christopher's extended family played a meaningful role in his life. He had a special bond with his first cousin Latiaya Washington - more like a sister than a cousin - and their connection was one of deep loyalty and lifelong friendship. He also held close relationships with his cousin Anya Washington, his aunt Kimberly, Grandmother; Bernice Lewis, and his uncle Gregory Washington, all of whom were an important part of his world and cherished by him.
