Christopher Michael Waymaster
September 8, 1980 - July 11, 2024
Shelby Township, MI – Christopher Michael Waymaster, a beloved resident of Shelby Township, and formerly of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on July 11, 2024. He was 43 years old.
Christopher was born on September 8, 1980, in Pontiac, Michigan, to his devoted parents, Adam and Tammy Waymaster. Growing up in a military family, Christopher's early years were spent in diverse locales such as Florida, Turkey, New Mexico, and Michigan. These experiences instilled in him a love for travel and an adventurous spirit.
A proud alumnus of Southlake High School in St. Clair Shores, Christopher graduated in 1999. His passion for life was evident in his love for food, travel, and road trips. He especially cherished his time on his GSX-R750RR Suzuki motorcycle, which he proudly proclaimed as the best motorcycle ever built.
Christopher was a third-generation barber, a craft that he not only mastered but also shared with others as an instructor at the Michigan Barber School in Detroit and host to the Michigan Barber Expo. His dedication to his profession and his students was unmatched, leaving a lasting impact on many talented and aspiring barbers.
Christopher is survived by his cherished wife, Stephanie, whom he married on July 3, 2021, in Shelby Township, Michigan. He is also survived by his children: Jordan Waymaster-Brock, James (Avery Townsend) Zanon, and Samuel Zanon. Christopher leaves behind his loving brothers, Andrew (Andrea) Waymaster, Daniel Waymaster and Ryan Feuquay; his parents, Adam and Tammy Waymaster; and his father-in-law, Dennis (Kathy) Feuquay. His memory will also be treasured by his grandparents: Paul (Beth) Waymaster, Janet (David) Barley, and Larry (Deb) Gordier; his cherished nieces, Evelyn and Willow, and many cousins.
Christopher was preceded in death by his dear grandmother, Karen Gordier.
A celebration of Christopher's life will be held at 2:00 PM on July 22, 2024, at the Mission Church, located at 52767 Shelby Road, Shelby Township, Michigan, MI 48316.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gramer Funeral Home, Diener Chapel, Shelby Township, Michigan.
Christopher's vibrant spirit, unwavering love for his family, and dedication to his craft will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, adventure, and skill lives on in the hearts of those he touched
