Christopher B. Webster

Christopher Brian Webster, age 22, who was taken from this earth too soon in the early hours of July 12, 2025.
Chris graduated from Rutland High School and honed his mechanical talents at Stafford Technical Center. Much like his old man, he had grease in his veins and could fix just about anything with wheels. After school, he was at his happiest working alongside the crew at Ciccone & Sons. Post-graduation he built a reputation for honesty, skill, and generosity-always the first to roll up his sleeves when friends or family needed help with their vehicles.
An adventurer at heart, Chris loved hunting and fishing. He made countless trips to High Ledge, where folks say if you listen close on a quiet morning you can still hear him shouting, "Put the hammer down and send it!" He was full throttle in everything he did-when he learned to ride a bicycle, he refused training wheels and mastered it on his third try. And that wasn't fast enough, so he stashed that bike in his great-grandmother Martha's garage and went looking for his cousin Daniel's dirt bike.
Chris's proudest role of all was being a dad. Benjamin and Kingston were his world. He carried them on his shoulders, taught them life's little lessons, and loved them with a ferocity I've seldom seen in a man.
He is survived by his mother, Trista Pelland step father Chad Frederick of Vermont; his sister, Laci & Lily; his brother, Connor; by his father, Brian Webster and stepmother, Chelsea of Georgia, and their children Anna, Edward, and Ethan; by grandparents Mary and Joe Shaw of Vermont, Rick Pelland Sr. of Rhode Island, and Alan and Deidre Hayes of South Carolina, John & Karrie Rogers of Indiana; by Uncles Ricky Pelland, Patrick Sullivan, and Sean Sullivan; by Aunt Valerie Sullivan; and by a wide circle of cousins and friends who knew his laughter and felt his loyalty.
There will be a celebration of life at a later time for Family & Close Friends.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that you make a donation to the Motorcycle Safely Foundation or to the Vermont Fish & Wild Life Department.
