With hearts full of love and gratitude, we remember Christopher Cole West, who peacefully passed away on October 13, 2025, at Houston Methodist Hospital.

Born on February 4, 1969, Chris lived a full and generous life marked by kindness, humor, and quiet strength. After many years of dedicated service, he retired from ExxonMobil, where he was respected for his integrity and warmth.

He is deeply loved and will be forever remembered by his wife Claire West, his daughters Maegan Smith and Lyndsey Painter, and his brother Matthew West. Chris was a devoted husband and father, a man who expressed love not only through words but through every thoughtful gesture. He had a way of making ordinary days feel special by sending music that spoke to the heart, sharing laughter through memes, and finding joy in the simple act of being together.

He cared deeply, listened fully, and gave endlessly. To know him was to be touched by his generosity and lighthearted spirit.

Although no formal funeral service was arranged, his cremation was entrusted to Crespo and Jirrels Funeral and Cremation Services. Family and friends who wish to honor his memory are invited to share eulogies, memories, and messages of love, so that the story of Chris's life continues through every heart he touched.

His laughter, kindness, and love will remain with us in our conversations, in our shared memories, and in the quiet moments when we still feel his presence. Until we meet again, we hold him close in spirit, forever part of our family and our hearts.

With love,

Maegan, Lyndsey, Claire and Adara
