Christopher Wilbur, age 39, of Braintree passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Chris was born, raised, and educated in Weymouth. After graduating Weymouth High School in 2003, Chris served in the National Guard out of the Melrose Armory for seven years. He enjoyed his work at All Brand Appliance in Dorchester where he has been employed for a decade.
Chris had a love for concerts, cooking, ultimate frisbee, and loved hobbies and crafts. He had a special place in his heart for his two dogs, Leia and Nubby. He will be remembered for going out of his way to help those around him.
Chris was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Jeanne (Dowling) Wilbur and his brother Greg Wilbur. He is survived by his brother Mike Wilbur and his wife Angela of Holden, MA and his step-mother Marilyn Wilbur of Mashpee. Chris is also survived by his aunt Denise Sullivan and her husband Tom, his uncle Danton Wilbur and his wife Janice, the entire Bezanson Family who have been lifelong friends who became family, and many cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Chris on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Friends will gather in the funeral home Monday morning at 9:45am for a funeral service that will begin promptly at 10am. Burial will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery on Canterbury St. in Boston.
