Christopher Witherspoon Obituary
"Spoon", as most knew him, was born on May 17, 1960 in Jefferson, NC the son of Bobby Lee Witherspoon and Marjorie Lee Colvard Frost. He was currently employed with the Harris County Road Department, where he had faithfully worked the last 14 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved the beach and the mountains. He loved deep sea fishing. He also was a die-hard Georgia Bulldogs fan. He is preceded in death by his biological parents, and a son, Jacob Ross Witherspoon.
He is survived by his son, Lucas Ryan Witherspoon; daughter, Abby Grace; step-father, John A. Holden of Shiloh, GA; brother, Van (Kelly) Holden of Shiloh, GA; sister, Suzie (Barry) Brown of Cataula, GA; nieces, Kasey, Olivia, and Brittany; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Spoon's memory can be given to the Harris County Animal Shelter, 4078 Barnes Mill Road, Hamilton, GA 31811.
Cox Funeral Home - Hamilton, is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be given at www.coxfh.com.
