Sandra Kelsay Obituary
Ms. Kelsay was born June 21, 1953, in Portsmouth, VA, the daughter of Alfred Oliver Kelsay and Ina Ruth Thacker Kelsay. While growing up, she traveled extensively with her family, as her father was an officer in the military. As an adult she became an LPN and worked at various nursing homes in Missouri, Ohio and Florida before retiring to Manchester, GA. She enjoyed reading, playing video games, and especially enjoyed studying religion.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee Kelsay and Herbert Oliver Kelsay.
She is survived by her three children, Ina Christine Rouse (William) and Gary Stephen Owens, Jr. (Lara) all of Waycross, GA, and Jocelyn Heather Morford (Shawn) of Hamilton, GA; eight grandchildren, Paige (Evan) Drury, Josh Rouse, Christopher Rouse, Stephen Owens, Braydon Owens, Alex Morford, Brandon Morford and Andrew Morford; four great-grandchildren, Ellie Kate Drury, Fischer Drury, Lori Morford and Connor Morford; a sister, Gale Kelsay; a brother, Kenny Kelsay (Carol) and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service was held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Hamilton Cemetery in Hamilton, GA.
