Christy was born on January 20, 1975, to Arce Lee Green and Norvell (Franklin) Green, in Ardmore, Okla. She joined Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church at a young age. She attended Graham High School and after it closed, she attended and graduated from Lone Grove High School with the class of 1993. Christy worked as a cook in the nursing home kitchens in the area until her health forced her into early retirement. She loved listening to her music, going to the local casinos for entertainment and playing BINGO. But most of all, she loved spending time with her friends and her children.
She is preceded in death by her father, Arce Lee Green, three brothers, Wendell Dean Green, Alan Dale Green, and Randal Green, and son, Marquis Garcia.
Christy is survived by her mother, Norvell Green of Ardmore; her children; Mariyah Garcia, Mario Garcia, and Marlee Garcia, all of Ardmore. sisters: Regina Franklin of Ardmore, and Ramona Green of Lone Grove, five brothers: Reginal Green of Dallas, TX, Marvin Green of Ardmore, Darnell Green of Ardmore, Corey Green of Ardmore, and Casey Green, of Ardmore.
Those serving as casket bearers will be her brothers and Corey Green, Jr.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Griffin~ Hillcrest Funeral Home.

Mrs. Norvell & Family, I'm sincerely sorry for your loss of Christy. Although I didn't know her that well, I can say that when I saw her, she always had a big smile on her face. May God bless you all during your time of bereavement.

Christy was a good friend. She kept you laughing about something it was never a dull moment when she was around from high school to adulthood. Christy is my oldest son Godmother she stuck with me thru my whole pregnancy my most memorable moment was when I was in labor Christy had me mad she had me crying and laughing all in one. We shared a lot of memories sweet and bitter. Rest easy my friend/sister.
