Mr. Charles Eugene "Chuck" Tate

Mr. Charles Eugene "Chuck" Tate, age 91, of Hiram, Georgia passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 in Powder Springs, Georgia.
Mr. Tate was born August 20, 1934 in Wisconsin to Mr. George Carlin Tate and Mrs. Myrtle Williams Tate Stanfield. He was married to Mrs Phyllis Harris Tate for more than 60 years prior to her passing. Mr. Tate was a honorable veteran serving in the United States Marine Corp. Mr. Tate worked for CSX Railroad as a Freight Conductor.
Mr. Tate was preceded in death by: Wife, Mrs. Phyllis Harris Tate; Father, Mr. and Mrs. George Carlin Tate; Mother, Mrs. Myrtle Williams Stanfield; Brother and Sister.
Mr. Tate is survived by: Sons, Mr. and Mrs. Doug (Clare) Tate, Mr. and Mrs. Tracy (Mahalianne) Tate and Mr. and Mrs. Tim (Babs) Tate; Grandchildren, Nic Tate, Sarah Tate, Ashley Tate, Matthew Tate, Michael Tate (Dovie), Zac Tate and Emily Tate Loy (Ethan Loy); Great Grandchildren, Fredrick Loy and Dorothea Loy; Nieces and Nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. Rev. Marcus Miller will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Samaritan's Purse.
