Cindee Lee, a devoted wife, loving mom, and cherished MawMaw and Gigi, left this world on December 7, 2024, at the age of 69. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of love, devotion, and an unwavering commitment to family. Born on January 9, 1955, Cindee was a vibrant spirit whose laughter could brighten the darkest of days. She embarked on her journey as a proud member of the Wayne High School class of '73, where she was celebrated as a Warriorette and an enthusiastic participant in the spirited Wayne Train.

For many years, Cindee dedicated her life to nurturing the minds and hearts of children with special needs, a role she embraced wholeheartedly during her time at Huber Heights City Schools. Her compassion and tireless advocacy helped countless young individuals flourish, reflecting her deep-seated belief in the potential of every child.

To her family, Cindee was the embodiment of loyalty and strength. She joyfully embraced her roles as a wife, mom, a beloved MawMaw and Gigi. Her husband, Richard S. Lee, stands testament to her devotion; she was his partner and confidante, and together they built a legacy steeped in love. Cindee's children—Eddie Stidham (Heather), Angela Wright (James), Emily Adams (Ryan), and Jordan Stidham—each carry forward her spirit, instilled with values of encouragement and tenacity that she so fervently championed. Her step-children—Randy Lee (Jules), Ricky Lee (Alex), and Rachel Lee (Jake)—were also enveloped in her boundless affection.

Her grandchildren—Devon, Tray, Olivia, Sierra, Starla, Rylee, Remy, Kaydence, Kason, Elise, Fiona, Jacob, Asa, and Axel—were her pride and joy, and she relished every moment spent with them. The laughter and innocence of her great-grandchildren—Owen, Julian, Remedy, Amelia, and Kareem—filled her heart with a happiness that was palpable, a testament to her unbreakable familial bonds.

Cindee's personality was a dazzling mosaic of feistiness and warmth; she spoke her mind with a vibrant passion that inspired those around her. She was undeniably the Queen Bee of her family, fiercely protective and selfless, placing their needs above her own. Family gatherings echoed with her laughter, and she would always be the first to lend a helping hand or an encouraging word, nurturing dreams and ambitions with gentle guidance.

In her absence, Cindee leaves behind a legacy steeped in love and laughter. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Chitwood, and her step-father, Kenneth Chitwood Sr., both of whom she loved dearly.

A memorial gathering will be held on December 30, 2024, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00pm, at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, Ohio. As we gather to celebrate her remarkable life, let us hold close the memories of Cindee Lee, a beloved matriarch whose spirit will forever illuminate the lives of those she touched.
