Cindy Lynne Abasolo

Cindy Lynne Abasolo, 68, of Scituate, Massachusetts died on October 5, 2024, at South Shore Hospital from complications of heart disease.
Born in Long Island, New York in 1955, she was an only child of Miguel Abasolo and Janet Moffitt. Growing up on Long Island, she traveled before settling in Dallas, Texas where she worked in retail. She moved to Orleans in
1993 with her mother and daughter to help care for her grandparents. She was a mom, grandma, sister, cousin, and friend. She loved to read, listen to country music, facetime with her family and loved being around people. She loved being involved at Life Care of South Shore where she lived, officially named the Welcoming Committee for everyone coming to and from the facility. She never missed an opportunity to tell everyone she met about her family, especially her grandkids.
Cindy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jessica and Kyle Galloway of Huntsville, Alabama, grandchildren Jasmine (24), Matthew (13) and Brayden (11), great-grandchild Adilyn Mae (1), and brother Nico Abasolo. She was predeceased by her mother and father.
Visitation will be at Casper Funeral Home 187 Dorchester Street, Boston on Monday, October 14th from 4-6pm. Graveside service will take place at the Orleans Cemetery at 1pm on Tuesday, October 14th.
