Cindy Lou Gilbertson (born February 23rd 1958) passed away on June 5th 2025.
Cindy designed her dream life from the ground up. Given every reason to, she never gave up. She dedicated her life to serving her family and making sure they had all the love she didn't have.
Her most joyful days would be spent camping with family, riding on the motorcycle, and spending time with her grandchildren who were her absolute world. She'd never say no to a special shopping trip with her daughters. She always had the answer to every question.
She was always her daughter's friend's favorite, with so many unrelated that called her mom. She was the mom. The best mom. And when she wasn't mom, she was "Gramma." That was a role that was absolutely made for her.
She never missed a birthday, concert, or special event. She never missed a phone call from the grandkids and didn't mind talking nonsense with them, sometimes for hours at a time.
She taught us everything we know and we couldn't have asked for a better woman to be on our side, no matter what. She was always considerate of others and would often find special trinkets to give to everyone she loved. Not one to shy away from sales, whether in store or rummaging, the woman couldn't miss a deal.
She is survived by her husband, the love of her life for over 50 years Rick, her daughter Michelle (husband Wade, children Derik and Taylor), her daughter Kylie (husband Lucas, children Mason, Sawyer, Leonah, and Aylee), as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Respectful to her wishes, there will be no service. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
