Mark P. Bogan, age 56, of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. He chose to be an organ donor and was able to give the gift of life to others through the donation of his organs, tissue, and eyes. Mark was born on November 4, 1968 in Neenah, son of Michael and Carol (Long) Bogan. Here he grew up, where Mahler Park was the go to spot for soccer games with his soon to be lifelong friends, so close to Nancy Brown's cookies.

He was proud of his early years playing soccer on the Neenah Bombers, and then coaching his own team and choosing the same team name. Mark graduated in Neenah High School's class of 1987, and was a member of back-to-back state soccer championship teams in 1985 and 1986. Mark attended Marion University for one year where he was a Division 3 All-American soccer player. He then attended University of Wisconsin - Green Bay and played as a Division 1 soccer player for three years on a soccer scholarship. For many years, Mark coached son Ian's youth soccer teams and developed many close friendships. Mark was currently a senior service advisor for Bergstrom Automotive in Neenah where he dedicated over 20 years of service and earned numerous company awards. At work, every day with Mark was full of goofy stories and supper club talk. He was truly loved by his team. Mark was the kind of guy who made everyone feel like a friend. He couldn't walk down the block in Neenah without knowing a friend and chatting a while, and was the uncle with the biggest smile at family holidays.

Mark enjoyed the yearly family spring break road trip to Santa Rosa Beach, FL where he loved the relaxing beach time with his family and friends and the fresh steamed shrimp. Mark also loved his annual "Up North" hunting weekend… where no one hunted. We will miss Mark's cooking - especially when he treated us to his Grandma Long's secret fish fry.

Mark is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jessica; their children Sam, Ian and Mara; his mother Carol Bogan; siblings Christine Gerald, David Bogan and Michael Bogan; his mother-in-law Carol Deprey; two sisters-in-law Penny Miller and Jennifer (Guy) Jackman; many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends who will miss him dearly.

Mark was preceded in death by his father Michael Bogan, sister Kathy Bogan, brother-in-law Pat Deprey, father-in-law Wayne Deprey and nephew Kyle Blohm.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday October 5, 2025 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church 620 Division St., Neenah. A celebration of life will follow the service at Riverside Park Pavilion in Neenah. Please consider honoring Mark's usual style by dressing casually. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Bogan family.

I still can't believe Mark is gone. My heart breaks for you, Jess, the kids, and the Bogan family. I grew up about 3 blocks away from the Bogan family, and after my sister & I bought Cedar Bar & Grill, Mark would come in to play cards on Wednesdays with Dave & Ken. I have lots of memories with Dave, we talked about everything from family & friendships to our parents passing. He'd call me Kristin when I'd slip and call him Dave, and we'd laugh our butts off. He was just one of those guys who got along with everyone! My deepest condolences to all of you during this difficult time!

You will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of really knowing you, Mark. May you rest in peace, my friend.
