Cindy Lou Guede nee Schlosser, beloved wife of Emiel, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2024, at the age of 71.
She is survived by her husband; her sister, Pat Dosher of Havana; her sons, Emiel of Chicago, Matt of Augusta, ME, and Scott of Washington; and her grandchildren, Oscar, Finn and Emmalyn.
Cindy was a loving mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She loved life and people. She always had a smile and loved striking up a conversation with those around her, friend or stranger. Her volunteer work at Sea Base, a Boy Scout high adventure camp in the Florida Keys, was always the highlight of her year. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Cindy will be cremated, with a celebration of life ceremony to occur later in the year, the date to be determined. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorials in Cindy's name may be made to the American Stroke Association.
Memories and condolences can be left on the obituary at the funeral home website.
