Dear loving family and friends,

If you’re reading this then my spirit left my body on August 13, 2024, and I’ve joined Jesus in heaven. It’s beautiful here! I’ve been reunited with my sister Launa Tyra (Greg), my father Jack Lidester (Donna), my grandparents (Lidester and Goings), all of my previous pups, and other family members and friends.

I left behind so many that I will miss dearly. To my wife Samantha Perkins, thank you for truly loving me until death do us part. Please keep your faith, enjoy life, and take care of yourself and our babies Sophie and Willow. Chelsea, Oliver, and Calie say hello and give you doggy kisses from above. I will love you forever. To my mom Alta Wilson (Patrick Sr), I’ll miss our phone calls but there is no phone number required to talk to me now. To my sister, Linda Earl (Gary), and brother, Mike Lidester (Susan), I love you beyond measure and I will continue to protect you and your families from heaven. To my nieces and nephews (Gabe, Michael, Heather, Lindsey, Ann, Abby, Zack), I loved watching you grow into amazing adults and will always be in your heart. To Samantha’s family, thank you for accepting me and loving me. I love you all.

To my friends, Marilyn B, Carolyn C, Shelly G-H, Anna H, Nancy H, Wendy K, Mary L, Jane T, Deanna M, Chris P, Natalia R (Casey), Gretchen M (Josh), Jenny M (Kyle), Courtney T (Scott), Nicole C (Eric) and so many other friends that I can’t possibly name you all. Thank you for walking with and supporting me on this journey and teaching me so much about myself and life. To my hospice nurses Kristin L, Barb M (Rod), Carolyn, and Andrew S-H; thank you for caring for me physically, emotionally, and spiritually during my last months and days. You are true angels on earth.

I’m gone physically but please don’t remember me for my death but instead for my life. Please remember all of the amazing adventures we shared and the unforgettable memories we made along the way. Please remember my unimaginable childhood stories and how I fought and overcame so much. Please remember me for my faith and neverending desire to share the love of Jesus. Please remember my love of people and my ability to influence and lead others to their greatest potential. Please remember my sense of humor and ability to connect with strangers. Please remember my heart and passion for giving to those less fortunate. Please remember, what we once deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us.

Until we meet again, love Cindy Lidester
