Cindy Lou Meyer, age 65, of Cross Plains, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, in Abilene, Texas. Born on July 16, 1960, in Eastland, Texas, Cindy was a beloved daughter to Bob Roady and Sally Hicks-Roady.
She spent her life surrounded by family and friends, and she will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.Cindy's warm spirit and kindness touched many lives, and she dedicated herself to supporting and uplifting others. After a fulfilling career, Cindy embraced her retirement, cherishing time spent with her family. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did.
In honoring Cindy's wishes, there will be no formal service; however, family and friends will gather in a private celebration of her life to reflect on the cherished memories and the impact she made in their hearts. Though she has departed from this world, her legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of her family and the community she cherished.In these difficult times, let us remember Cindy not with sadness, but with gratitude for the beautiful moments shared. Her spirit will live on in the stories we tell and the love she gave.
